What Is Love? :
Never Shout Never’s first full-length album was published on January 26,2010. The song “What is love?” From this album was influenced from Christofer Drew’s parents getting a divorce. For him it was shocking because he grew up with his parents loving each other, the news took him by surprise; it was something that neither his sisters nor him expected. He wrote this song to express his thoughts about his parents. He says. “I know you’re oh so sorry dad, I truly believe that you’re a better man than to share one kiss and then give away from the love you come home everyday.” He goes further to asking what the meaning of love is and accusing them of raising him in a hypocritical way since they gave up and told him never to. Overall the song is about Christofer asking both his parents why they are both giving up on their love.

Lost At Sea:
In 2013 Christofer Drew broke up with his girlfriend, model and designer, Hannah Beth. He went into a downward spiral and had difficulty dealing with the separation. He launched his album named Time Travel in a way to help him cope with a broken heart. He explains that he started experimenting with drugs and even had suicidal thoughts. His song Lost At Sea explains how he had to run away and be secluded from his friends and family because he was feeling too much negative things. While in seclusion from others he felt as though he would have a mental breakdown since being lonely overwhelmed him. He writes this song for his friends and family to let them know that if he does lose his mind that he loves them. The chorus goes, “If I’m lost at sea, tell my mother, my father, my sister, my brother, my friends and my foes, and all my past lovers, that I will miss them so, but lord I had to go.”
